We are returning to the Dragon King for a Chinese buffet on Monday 11th October.
We will meet at the Dragon King at 7:30pm, please could you let me know if you are planning to come. All you can eat buffet around £12. If the cost is going to prevent you from coming, please let me know and arrangements will be made.

Another great evening in Whixall – lovely setting, no rain, good food and some dodgy shooting. Well done Bruce – this year’s champion!

This was a great evening last year (once the convoy had found the right place…). The contribution towards the BBQ will be about £3 but if you could bring your own drinks (no restrictions!) that would be great.
Please could you let me know if you are able to come so we can make sure we have enough food.
We will be meeting at church at 7pm to share lifts and travel in convoy or 7:30pm in Whixall – get in touch if you would like directions.

Just a quick reminder that our next event is at the Abbey on Monday night from 7:30 onwards.
Some of us will be eating around 8pm and some will be staying on for the quiz at 9pm but if you just want to come for a drink that’s fine.

Our next event is a meal at the Abbey with Geoff Day as our after dinner speaker on Monday 12th April at 7pm.
The three course meal is £10 each and your choices are below. Please could you let me have your choices.

Buffet Starter - will include tempura prawns, sticky ribs, stilton and walnut stuffed mushrooms, potato skins and chargrilled halloumi
Mains
- Fish and Chips with mushy peas
- Gammon with chips, peas, grilled tomato and a choice of either two fried eggs or fresh chargrilled pineapple
- Chicken & Bacon Salad with a choice of balsamic, roasted red pepper or honey mustard dressing
- Sausage & Mash
- Sole Fillet with rosemary-roasted baby potatoes and dressed mixed leaves
- Minced Beef & Baby Onion Pie with chips, peas and gravy
- Goats Cheese & Caramelised Red Onion Tart with rosemary-roasted baby potatoes and mixed salad leaves

We have two lanes booked for 7:30 pm on Monday for a game of bowling - £5.60 each.
